Spot The Rice!

Recommended Posts

Double-time downforce on a Pontiac Vibe... that's a fantastic idea! :P

Thank God he had the space to mount two rear wings on a hatchback.

Pontiac Vibe = BAD BAD idea to begin with! But to rice it out too!

PuppyPukey.png

Took me a few seconds to spot the rice...

BIG pic with the little Double Order Of Wings & Rice in the center...

Blew the hideous thing up for those other blind people on the board like myself.

I think that was a dealer-installed option on vibes. I've seen plenty of them like that around here. i mean they arent common, but maybe once a month or two.

Yeah, my bad. Here, I cropped and upsized the original to make it clearer what his spoilers looked like. If this was a factory or dealer job, than I'm that much more comfortable with the death of Pontiac just to keep them from doing more of that.

I thought the PimpT Cruiser was bad..... but that Vibe is DISGUSTING. Might as well knock out the back glass, add cupholder spots in the tray like lower spoiler and add a sauna in the back.

You gotta love the asymmetrical "H" and hood scoop thing with the cracking bondo on the drivers side. The tape holding the drivers mirror on is a nice touch too. Grading on a curve this is a about a B- compared to other ricers. I can see the same high quality build standards and attention to detail.

If you magnify the asymmetrical "H" you'll see what the "H" really stands for and that the owner already knows what a sh!t box it is...

At least the front nose wasn't busted up, just full of flaky gutter guard. The camera makes the paint appear better than it really was.

I got a two fer today within 10 minutes of each other. Both had crappy primer paint jobs with plenty of overspray and poorly fitting and misaligned panels. Typical rice quality. sorry about the crappy camera phone pics and the big ugly crack in my windshield (I am going to replace it soon)

Honestly, I could spend my entire day trudging through the rice patties of Killeen. Each day I'm awed, amazed, and appalled. Occasionally I'll spot a car that has done it right, but they are few are far between. I'll try to click some pics to demonstrate the proper way to mod a car as I find them... but in the mean time...

I spotted this beaut today. It was tucked in some tight parking spots so I couldn't get the full effect on digi-film, but here's a taste.

I got these pics of it that i pulled off the internet:

That's it. I could see past the body kit and side exhaust... but painted "port hole" tail lights on any car repulses me. I haven't seen the car on campus in quite a while.
