I know what it is, but I won't spoil much.

Hint: Was available with 14" wheels.

I hope you enjoy the car Jeff - it was a wonderful car.  It's never been in a wreck ever in its life, never been painted.  :-)  No hail dents either.  Maybe some acorn ones, lol.

ANd yes Jeff is the new owner.  I know it's in good hands.

And I updated my signature for current fleet details.

Fairmont Futura Zephyr Z-7. It'd be the Mercury.

The vehicle that Brian is considering is not unique because its RWD or old or has 14" wheels but it has 1 characteristic that sets it apart from just about every other car on this forum.

Is it an LTD with a 4 cylinder?  I looked through all those applications shown and that would be the weirdest of all.  LOL

He's the latest former Taurus owner to see the light and defect to the glory of the Panther platform ;)

I *own* a panther, but haven't had the time & energy to even lift the hood on it.

I'll have another Taurus someday...it'll have to be a wagon with a moonroof though.

That limits your pool of prospects but it is possible if you have a large radius in your travel.

Best of luck. Long Roofs are wonderful. I am on #3. :notworthy:

If I were looking, I would look at this, VA car but the moonroof makes the deal for me. Never want another one.

I had '01 and now '03 and the later has better sound deading and better features, inter lighting and puddle lights and such.

But I am happy with what I have.

Best of luck.

Yes I ideally want a 2003 model. Or a special sedan like a SESSport or a Centennial

Ideally, that's exactly what I want too. Platinum, Sport, or Centennial, mostly a Centennial lol.

This one's been for sale for a while, and it's in extremely nice condition, too! https://www.carsforsale.com/vehicle/details/13596904
