Rear Passenger Window Leak

Recommended Posts

I have a 2008 Mercury Sable.

Recently I noticed a sloshing sound coming from the rear passenger door.

It seems as though the window seal is leaking, and water is collecting inside the door. Removing the bottom screw to the interior molding allows some, but not all, of the water to drain.

Does anyone have any advice on how to fix this problem?

Mine all had drains in the bottom of the doors. Must bee they are plugged up.

Should be a drain on the bottom of the door, generally they are pretty flush, might have some plastic to protect it as it's only supposed to drain water. If you can open the door and take a photo of the bottom, might be able to point it out :)

Thanks for the help.

The seal at the bottom of the door had stuck over the drain. Stuck my finger under it, water drained out. Waiting to see if problem re-occurs, and if I need to get further to clean it.
