This might be the most garish looking trade-in I've seen in the two years I've been at my current dealership. :P

Bless it's little GM heart. That is a very rare Jeff Gordon Special Edition MC. One of only 2,424 units produced. http://www.hendrickmotorsports.com/news/articles/11767/chevy-unveils-new-jeff-gordon-monte-carlo

Good question. My aunt owns a Rusty Wallace-decor Monte Carlo SS, and I'm pretty sure that one does have the Supercharged 3.8L.

Edit: I just double-checked, and the S/C engine became available on Monte Carlo SS coupes in 2004. The '03 SS models were just a badge and trim job.

I've seen the Dale Earnhardt edition around here. I like it much better, plus it's probably way more valuable than this one. I agree Gordon sucks!

The Intimidator edition is pretty common around here. Certain people love those Super Charged 3.8Ls.  Grand Prixs, Monte Carlos, you name it, if its got a blown 3.8L they are still very desirable.

Really any Pontiac W-body car will sell for double of its non Pontiac W body counter parts (Impala, Regal, Intrigue, etc) even more if its Super Charged.
