Chicagoland Spring Meet: Sunday May 25Th, 2014

Recommended Posts

Hey TSOC, it's finally that time of year again. After a brutal and excessively long winter, we're gonna kick off the warm time of year with a local meet planned for next month. Our very own Bull Geek, AKA Southern Nick, should be making a special guest appearance, as well. ;)

Post up with your thoughts on which location and whether or not you can attend. Hoping to see some new, fresh TSOC faces for this gathering during the Memorial Day weekend! B)

Attending:

Brian (1987 Mercury Sable LS)

Nick (2003 Lincoln Town Car)

Devin (2006 Doge Charger Daytona)

Trace (2002 Taurus SE)

Eric (1986 Lincoln Town Car)

John (2004 Taurus SES Sport)

Kevin (1995 Taurus LX 3.8L Wagon)

Jeff (2009 Mercury Sable Premier)

Larry (2012 Taurus SHO)

Meeting location will be at the following restaurant's parking lot, followed by a parting-out visit to Eric's house which is relatively nearby. The planned meeting time is 11:00am on Sunday.

Portillo's Hotdogs

1500 Butterfield Road

Downers Grove, IL 60515

If the president isn't allowed there could be trouble.

I should hope to make an appearance, possibly drag along someone else and their non-Taurus.

I brought a Toyota product last year....I wasn't shunned. At least, not to my face. I'll most likely be there in the 09 Sable this time around.

Let me see where my schedule falls. I think I can do this.

Hell, maybe a "Part Out" meet at my house after the GTG. I have 2 SHO's in the driveway that I'm hell bent on getting rid of by June 1st. No admission fee, but you can't leave without TAKING something from one of the cars...

I'm really gonna try to show up to this one. Once the date gets closer and I see the financial situation, I may make this trip.

Get a Nissan Juke.  That way we can all practice syncronized upchucking!

Going to be tough to bring Bojangles since I'll be in Michigan for a number of days prior to getting to Chicago…sorry.  Unless the drive from Michigan to Chicago has one.
