The Caliber Is Gone, But Look At My New Ride!

Recommended Posts

Yesterday was a very sad day. The Caliber has left me. She went to a young, responsible girl who will take great care of her. I simply didn't want to deal with the rapid depreciation in value, eventually becoming too upside down on it, and the CVT being replaced once already, causing more issues down the road. It had 122k on it, and it was just a cheap car. I knew that all along, but when I saw how much car I could get for the same cost per month, I had to get rid of her.

In exchange, I purchased myself this beauty.

Please excuse me while I continue to shriek like a little girl in excitement.

Ha! There is actually a previous body-style Charger around here in red with those same tape graphics.

Turns out, it's really a base V6 model. :P

Yep, those hideous rims are going in exchange for police wheels.

Yellow.  Wow.

Gotta be an extreme color!

Yeah, I already have people saying I drive a drug dealers car with those rims.

Being near Detroit, they must go. Fast.

Well maybe you are and you're not telling us.

Maybe that's why you never post on here anymore.

Hmmm...

:)

Enjoy the new ride!  Don't do too many smokey burn outs!  Tires aren't cheap!

Like you find your car sitting blocks with no wheels?

Insurance can pay for those.

Nice car but I have to ask... how do you fit in it?

I checked out a sunroof-equipped Charger once and I couldn't fit. Roof was just too low.

I have to agree.... The roof is low on those and I'm a tall guy. I was talking to a cop and he said its horrible when you try to get a large perp in the back seat.... He said you have to struggle to get them in. They like the Taurus much better because of the larger back seat! Crown vic too.

I'm 6' 7" and with the sunroof, I just fit. It's not uncomfortable or anything though.

To be perfectly honest, it wouldn't be the first time that's happened. RIP Devin's Taurus.
