Fs: 1997 Ford Taurus Sho V8

Recommended Posts

I am ready to start thinning down my fleet of cars.  I like the car and all, but my goal is to downsize to the 2000 Taurus and the 91 Mercury. Long term, not sure the 1997 SHO is what I want as a daily driver.

So for the generic information:

1997 Ford Taurus SHO V8.  156K miles.  AX4N transmission.  Toreador Red Metallic / Gray Cloth interior (yes the SHO seats!)  Minus 1 year in Michigan as a Ford Exec car, it spent its life in GA and SC for the remainder.  So no body rot or anything.  Nice and solid!

$3500 OBO

Features/Functions from a base SHO:

JBL Audio System w/correct speakers, shelf, and a CD changer.

Power Moonroof

EATC

New EATC/Stereo ICP

Shifts good, runs well (I've driven it now about 7-8K miles).

Nice Centennial Edition wheels.  Same style as a 99 SE Sport/SHO but with painted pockets.

In the next week I'll be doing the brakes, as well as the struts up front (SARCs), and inner/outer tie rods.

If time permits, will do the rear strut mounts as well - but they as well as many spare parts are included with the sale if I don't have time.  Plenty of recent maintenance has been done - feel free to ask.

Having been the only one here to buy a car from Nick, let me tell you. It will be far better than advertised.

Nick had this car treated with a permanent paint protection system, CQUARTZ Finest, that I applied personally in November.

Any who might the buyer be?! ;)

And if you won't reveal, at least tell me it is in good hands.

If he/she's from TSOC, of course it's going to be in good hands! :tsoc:=

Here's hoping the sale goes through without a hitch.
