Gen 3 Stabilizer Bar Brackets

Recommended Posts

Update: I have since picked these up today and this currently un-nessesssary.

I could get these from a dealer site like fastpartsnetwork.com, but if any one has a pair of Front Gen 3 Stabilizer bar brackets, I am in the market.

Item 10 in diagram. Any one parting out their 1996-1999? My 2003 brackets don't seem to fit my new bushings to well. Many have said(thanks Nick) that Gen 3 should work.

The more durable metal bars, instead of those cheesy OEM plastic endlinks? I have an extra pair of the former. ;)

Nevermind, I thought you needed the endlinks for some reason...

Thanks for the offer for the Endlinks Brian. I actually just installed Dualast By Autozone end links. Nice and solid. I was hoping to install the bushings at the same time, but I was denied. Actually I was in luck, my fathers neighbor sold his 2002 Sable GS before he had a chance to install them.

Gen 1/2 brackets will not work on a Gen 3/4 unfortunately. They are designed differently.

I will have to grab some Gen 3s at the yard in the future.

Hmm they came out of an 89 SHO race car at u pull. I came remember if that car had a gen 3 subframe under it or not. I will look at the brackets. What are the differences?

The Gen 3 brackets look bent. One side sits lower than the other. Gen 1/2 are flush on both sides.

The Gen 3 bracket looks like a bracket for stair steps.

I have a universal style bracket on my sable one side is spaced out so it sits flush and a longer bolt added. But I think I know what you mean. Will check my brackets
