Judging by the wear on the turn signal, probably 166K. Yes 5 digits on all 86-94 SLOs. 92 and up SHOs had 6 digit.

I edited my post before I read this:) I actually saw the pic that showed it was 5!

Oh well, I hope the dealer gets in trouble! Lol, what are the laws on an ODO that rolls over like that? Did they only put a 5 diget in because they didn't expect the car to last that long!?

Generally cars that have 5 digit odos when registering your vehicle will have a checkbox for "mileage exceeds mechanical limits" aka 5 digit speedo. YOu'll have fools registering a car that had 166K miles, saying it has 66,000 miles.

It looks like that Taurus for the people from that other post.

Haha that intake made from pipe from home depot must have added like 50 hp. At least!

How can you ask that much for a common mans sedan that is over 20 years old. I would pay maybe $300 bucks if that.

And the always popular "missing one hubcap for that authentic classic vehicle look."

Lots of odd thing out there, like taking all those pics of this JY parts car.

When I was looking at Lins, over a year ago I clipped some things out of CarFax watching for common failures.

This was just odd.

See pic.

No insurance, Not dealer, but nearly new car.

I'm guessing wrecked but not body, just under car damage.

But no way of knowing.

A few interesting rid bits I hadn't known previously:

The Dash in my tbird looks much like the grand canyon just as that one.

Different steering wheel, but same cruise buttons.

I didn't pay near as much for my tbird and it has far less rust. Though according to that it has 80k more miles.

All relative.

See pic, Fla car, no wrecks, good carfax.

Huge range of what is out there under $5K.

85K miles

That Taurus is a classic. Drop a V6 EcoBoost SHO in it, and turn it into a true sleeper. :P

I understand that. My car is clean and checks out good. 4 owners and the distance between residences is no more then 20 miles. I paid $2500 for it and, no offence, is a much more desirable car then an 88 Taurus.

No way that car has the mileage they speak of.

I looked at a lot of vehicles before my pants got tight over the Saab. Various Lincolns were some of them.

$3,900.00?! You've got to be kidding me!

There is a sucker born every minute. Likely a buy here pay here, PAY, PAY, etc.

Hard to tell what a dealer is, even new car places.

Some are buy here pay here, some are fronts for crime.

People who go to buy here pay here places are IDIOTS.

Some people have little choice.

Most need to have a better education.

I remember when looking for my Lin, stopped at a used dealer with low miles Lin. Walked in the door and asked about the car.

Lady handed me the key and said something to the effect there it is on the line.

Battery was dead, and car dirty inside.

I walked back in handed the lady the key and said thanks and left.

She and here partner in the office did not speak as I left.

So, wonder what kind of buisness they were in?

Guess I did not look like their kind of customer.

I did not see anything in their ad to make me not stop by.

I hate the process of buying a used car, especially from a dealer. I won't buy a used car from a dealer if I can help it. If I had the money to buy a new car, great. I'll go to a dealer and buy it.

Back before I got my Thunderbird, I was looking into a Lincoln Mark VIII. I found a "dealer" on Craigslist who said they had one for sale. I got there, car looked like s**t, and allegedly it had a blown motor. I asked how they knew if the engine was blown, they were told it was. I asked if I could play around with it for a few: Absolutely not. None of this was told to me over the phone. Over the phone, "Oh, yeah, we have a few Lincolns here, but I am not sure about the specs, feel free to come down to take a look!"

Glad I didn't buy one now. Would have made it harder to get my Thunderbird :P

The ad says its at a Cadillac dealer. That's the premium you pay for that dealer badge. If I were a Cadillac dealer that car would've went quietly outback to the wholesale auction.....just sayin.

Your right, looks like a regular dealership, quite a few GMC vehicles pictured in the background. You think they would have just shipped that thing off to auction.

That must be 166,000 mi. And I'd pay no more than 500 bucks for that. However, Sill glad to see it in a car lot for sale for an absurd amount of money than in a junkyard somewhere I gotta tell ya.
