How in-depth was the install?

It's rather easy. Grab the bracket from another Gen 3/4 Taurus that holds the horns, preferably another Gen 4. It holds two horns. Bolt two on, and then bolt 2 more on on the other side underneath. Run the horn output to a relay, use 12VDC from the battery to horns. The four horns pull a ton of juice.

Honestly could probably get away without a relay. My Contour had a horn relay already, so I didn't. I never had a problem with the quad note GM/Buick horns.

I'd do the relay... Full power when needed. You should hear the colony park - bad horns. 1 is dead the other only half works

Good to know, thanks bud. Still not sure. I can get the plug and play factor replacement for 35 bucks, so maybe just do that for now. I dunno.

Well, my Dual Oldsmobile Horns were $10 from a junkyard, but I also bought parts for my fiancee's parents Vibe.

The dual notes in later Roadmasters sounds better than the Gen 4 Taurus stock horns did too. Those are easier. When I do mine, I'll show you how I wired mine up.

My friend has a 2001 Pontiac Bonneville and the horns are dual tone and LOUD. They simply put my dual tone Taurus horns to shame (although one of mine is already pretty weak and possibly dying).

Misplaced my pride tool over a year ago.

Today found 30A inductive HOYT on ebay and ordered it.

$24.99. Now, that will insure I will find my misplaced 60A one.

Murphy's law.

O2Lin1-15_zps9345eab7.jpg

Not the same as bulls, but did this for the Lin Cont. Note the zero readings. This is when fuel shutoff happens in coasting. All readings are zero. It is like the fuel system is frozen in time. When fuel shutoff ends, all readings go high. Of course you have air and no fuel so excess O2 is full stream. Engine braking is rather obvious.

Of interest to me, just sharin.

Here's a dingy looking hubcap for a Gen I Sable with 15" steelies:

http://www.ebay.com/itm/Mercury-Hubcap-/201252086207?pt=Motors_Car_Truck_Parts_Accessories&hash=item2edb8f21bf&vxp=mtr

However, there's this:

I recently purchased this item at an auction.

You're bidding on what's shown in the photo(s) ONLY, nothing else is included.

If you have any questions let me know, I'm not knowledgeable in the field of car parts, but I'll do what I can.

I can't sell to anyone in Indiana.

I wonder why he can't sell it to anyone in his own state. I'm thinking tax issue, but I don't live there, so I don't know.

I wouldn't sell stuff to anyone from Indiana either. Indiana smells funny.

Your bias though, that's like all the bad things we "Wisconsin residents" call people like you from Illinois.

Weather14a_zpsbcf127da.jpg

This is not snow, and walking on it is out of the question now.

Salted next to the house and made a trip out before it got so bad.

This is the North Country, it is supposed to snow here. So I have a snow blower.

This stuff is what they get down South.

Bother that stuff and mind the trees. Ice accumulation has its own special place in things to hate.
