  1. My 2005 Taurus SEL has a 6 disc CD player and it has been showing “CDE2” on the radio display. Does anyone know what this means? It still functions, but what I notice is if it is on CD 1 Track 5 and I turn the car off the next time I turn it on the car will display CDE2 on the radio and change to the next Disc (in this case it will change to Disc 2). Even if it is on Disc 2 it will change it to Disc 3 . It will do this even if I change it from CD to radio and then back to the CD. I did open the 6 Disc CD player to clean it because it would skip when playing a CD at times. It hasn’t done that
  2. Thanks for the reply Angrod, do you have anymore information on this? I am wondering if it only affects certain years of the Mach RCU. I’ve been unable to find others having the same problem. This is honestly the first time I’ve even heard of this issue. It’s a bit disappointing that they wouldn’t have fixed this. Thanks again for the information!

I know I have a speaker that needs to be replaced, but would that impact all the speakers? Is this an indicator that I have a bad/failing RCU? I appreciate the help. Thanks!
  4. I have been meaning to attempt this for some time, though I'd like some clarification on this walkthrough. My sunload sensor plug wires look just like the image below (wire colors and layout). If I rotate my Sunload sensor plug exactly as the picture has it, the stamp on the plug shows the Brown wire as Number 1 and the Blank slot to the right of the Black/Yellow wire is number 6. I have a 2005 Taurus SEL with Manual HVAC. The documentation given above says: Then in the actual detailed walkthrough it states: Can someone please clarify whether pin 2 t
  5. I was able to find a set. Just waiting to get them installed now.
