    Im looking for a Black leather driver side seat bottom only.I'm putting Taurus buckets in my 01 Mercury Grand Marquis.I found one black interior Taurus in the local junkyard but the butt cushion has a couple tears.The passenger seat and the driver seat back are in great shape.Also need the manual lumbar knob as it was broken as well.

    I knew if I waited long enough I would find out what the possible problem was with my car.I have a 99 Taurus SHO with the same transmission and exact same problem. I thought the trans was shot so I bought a complete motor and trans but have never got around to installing it.Now I think I may try swapping valve body and see if it fixes it.Would be nice if it did the car has been sitting for a little over a year and I kinda miss driving it.

    I picked up this motor at the junkyard yesterday.It has a little over 84K,the picture are of the front and rear heads after I pulled the valve covers.Also there was no metal shavings or flakes of any kind anywhere near the cam or in the heads at all.So from the pictures does it appear that this motor suffered the same fate as many others have or is it good to go after the cams are weld. http://s933.photobucket.com/user/fordtaurus/library/Low%20millage%20SHO%20motor I got the motor,trans and entire subframe with everything still attached for $500,and $100 for the rest of the parts I got from

    Not much has happened to it in the last year other then it has been sitting since about October last year after the transmission went out.That should change next spring after the junkyard haul today.I found a 96 SHO with only 84K in the junkyard today.I got the entire sub frame motor,trans and all both front fenders the front and rear bumper,SHO front floor mats,JBL rear radio control box and the trunk lid all for only $600.Not sure on the motor yet need to pull the valve cover to find out if cam fail or not.If not the whole thing will replace the one in the 99 since it has about 150k.The fend

      No, but they had the Handling and Performance package, which included dual exhaust and other add-ons. It may have that. Some refer to it as a "police package" not knowing the difference.

    2005 was the first year for the 4.0 v6 in the Mustang.Mines a 2000 and has the 3.8L,and it defiantly isn't slow.It isn't stock ,but only has a few engine mods,91 performance tune,under drive pulley,and 4:10s with LSD.This is an older video before the 4:10s,and 91 tune https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?v=2034548901482&l=9087391272059771340.I need to make a new video once it wakes up from winter hibernation. It could probably take the SHO off the line,but once the secondaries kick in the SHO would pull away in a hurry.

    I'm not sure on that.I know on my 00 V6 Mustang It was above the filter.I removed that one to have the J-mod done on it.If I can't remove it then I'll have to have it towed in to get fixed.If the transmission does need pulled It will give me a reason to install on of those Transgo shift kits while its out

    Mine doesn't have the OD button so it only goes to 1st.So do you think getting my current valve body rebuilt would be a good idea to try then.

    The problem happened when I went to drive on some 2x4's to raise the car up to replace my rusted out Y-pipe.I put it in D and nothing tried regular D nothing,put it in 1st and got the RPM's up around 2k and it will move very slowly forward ,less then 1 MPH no faster.Reverse works fine.I also noticed since the drive way has a slope that in drive and no brakes on the car will roll backwards.The transmission never showed any problems before this happened.I have checked the fluid and it is at a normal level and the fluid/filter was just changed about 2 months ago.

      I hope it doesn't freeze tonight, at least not a hard freeze, because I think the '95 has only water in it's radiator. I bought the coolant but didn't have time to get it flushed yet.

      Yea they bounce back open when I go to shut them.Figured out if I get the hair dryer and heat the latch up they work fine.only seems to happen first thing in the morning when it's the coldest

    seems to have fixed its self.Just tried again and it worked.I have had to try and remember a few password I'd hardly use today since I updated my old computer from Vista to Windows 8. 8 is so much better but it cleared my internet browser out of all my old settings.
