  1. I had to drive a Toyata Corolla while back, just a few miles on the interstate. Hard to figure out. Curise is under the right side of the steering wheel and follows the wheel around. Have to reach under the wheel to do cruise. No point in having it follow the wheel. Even if you wanted to set the cruise while making a hard turn you could not find the buttons. Does reaching under the wheel make sense? And then the side mirrors, buttons, 2 of them, over the left knee, cannot see them and drive. Then copied this from some technical magazine online. forgot what one. Electric steering. "

  2. Lol, I just held the wheel steady. I prefer to avoid this: Knew there wasn't enough time to move away from it. I pulled off the road a few miles down to check and make sure nothing was damaged, though I didn't check the front bumper. I was mainly concerned with both tires on that side. Surprised the mud flap on the rear wasn't tweaked.

  5. Eh, I'll have to disagree with you there, man. I have always preferred the look of GMC trucks to Chevys, going back to the 1960s (when GMC had is own V-6 engine design, for example). Same through the modern era, including the 1990s Sierra, Sonoma, Jimmy and Yukon. I much prefer the Terrain to the Equinox (though anything is better than the ugly first gen Equinox), and I like the Acadia more than the bland Traverse or over glitzed Buick Enclave. The only exception would be the current (not new, the out going generation) Tahoe/Suburban vs. the Yukon. The Chevy looks better than the GMC in th

  6. Well part of it is I'm lazy so it's easier if I put it on, rest a while, and then wipe it off... The other part is it was so cold I thought it might take longer to dry.

Over to Spring Hill Apartments on Brown Road, not a far trip, and not a bad apartment complex. So, I scoot out in the Taurus, hot steamy pie in bag, elapsed time on order, eight minutes, twenty four seconds. Killer time. It's a six minute trip to Brown Road. Knock on the door, less than twenty minutes have elapsed since the customer phoned it in. Awesome response time for 6 pm on a Saturday night. W
