How about a like-new 03 "Centennial" edition Taurus:
http://www.cars.com/...tingId=82044211

Probably the last one in the US with so few miles.

$13,000?! For a 2003?! No. It's nice, but no.

Maybe you could talk them down a little bit in price, but that's still wayyyy too much money for a car that's just about 9 years old. Though it would be nice to have 2 Centennials in the garage Posted Image

That's a fun new take on an old story about the time that one of six Bugatti Type 41 Royales ever made was up for auction, and this guy who owned one of the other Royales put in bid for it.

"Why would you want to buy that car when you have one of the few others that exist already?"

"Because when someone asks how my Bugatti Royale is doing, I want to be able to say 'which one?' back to them."

The book value on that isnt even $8,000. Dealers would charge more obviously, but not that much!

Yup Centennial only thing :) Pretty neat!

Agreed, price is a bit up there. I think around 10-11k would be a bit better, but this is CarMax. So you pay for top notch.

I remember a Ford dealer in California had a leftover loaded to the gills brand new 2005 SEL a few years back, that they found in their back lot in 2007. It sold on eBay for like 16 grand.
