I saw these posted on another site. Who in their right mind would repair car like this, let alone all 3 are wagons. Why are these even on the road still ? :blink:

1999 Taurus Wagon, Autodim/compass mirror - auto delay headlights - radio on until door opened mod - heated mirrors with puddlelamps - 1996 design inside doorpanel puddlelamps - floorshifter and console from gen 4.5 w/CD changer - gen 2 SHO dual powered front seats - 1997 SHO wheels - aftermarket moonroof - factory wagon moonroof headliner - wiper delete back glass.

What no Gen 4 wagon?

That Gen 1 looks terrible w/Jeep tail lights. I do like the 90 degree pieces of metal to hold the lamps up. I like the ducttape bumper cover on that Gen 2 too.

The Gen 3 is pathetic. Junkyards sell glass. PulL A Part does too. So instead of removing a few bolts my Grandma could remove, they ruined the back end w/a piece of wood. America.

If you got the plywood, and don't care about the value of the car, it's a free repair :P



Also, I notice wagons get abused more. Which makes your wagon a bit more unique that it's in such amazing condition, Dennis. I think more so the judges you goto are more impressed, "Wow, a Taurus wagon that isn't dented, ruined, rusted, AND a daily driver!?"

You know... I bet it cost more money to rig that Gen 1 then it would have to go to PAP and get the correct tails LOL
