Well, as I am waiting on my Marilyn to be returned to me, I am surfing the Bay for Taurus memorabilia, besides the NASCAR diecasts. So since it is a slow day at work, I am going to post the stuff I find that I think is neat. Feel free to join in, or post some stuff you may have at home.

I don't think I've ever seen this before. Display SHO engine:

Japanese SHO brochure:

Autoweek new Taurus for 1996:

Sable stuff was pretty bland, nothing extraordinary.

That SHO engine display model is actually quite rare. My father had 38 years here at the Brookpark foundy & engine plants. You would only see a couple of those if you were lucky. Here at Brookpark, their big deal motor was the Cleveland 302 and the Cleveland 351 motors and now known at the 5.0 motors. I had a chance one time to get a bronze 302 display block, aprox 1/8th scale. The guys in the foundry would make maybe 10 of them for special events at the plant, and with over 4,000 workers there in its prime, those were like gold.
Display models like that are a rare find.

I love how that supercharged Taurus looks. Nice lines and the "body kit" is not gaudy. I'd love to have me one of those

Sadly, I have no car. My dad has been gracious enough to let me drive the '95 bull for a bit though.

I have the 1:32 scale 2010 SHO still in the unopened box they gave away at the 2009 SHO Convention.

Along with an embroidered SHO Polo the Ford PR was wearing - I won it as a door prize

Rusty, those are a white metal kit for HO train sets. Monogram also had a series of plastic cars about 10 years back for HO train sets. The metal ones were ok, but a bit costly compaired to plastic ones.
