Any ideas on an emblem to put there? Have been wanting to for a while, but can't decide on one. Those 'Powered By Ford' ones Brian got would be cool, but probably not the right shape to vibe with the swoop.

Something like these ones would be cool.

Or how about this one just to screw with people?

The charging bull emblem from a Lamborghini. You know you want to.

That would be great! The lil' lady likes the second one, the one from the 73 Ranchero Squire. I do too. Would hhave to mod it, though, so it would lay flat. Which I don't mind, unless it's a super rare emblem. Then I wouldn't feel right butchering it.

For what it's worth, my Powered By Ford (henceforth known as PBF for clarity's sake) badges are going on the front doors.

That looks awesome in my mind. Where you planning? In my mind they are about an inch or two under the moulding up front behind the fender.

Three options in my mind thus far, and I've done a rough Paint Chop for each possibility to get an idea for where I'd like 'em:

1. http://i311.photobuc...eplacement1.jpg

2. http://i311.photobuc...eplacement2.jpg

3. http://i311.photobuc...eplacement3.jpg

Look for the whited-out rectangles in each picture.

200 freakin bucks for some badges barely larger than the size of a matchbook? They better have chrome and gold on them. Sheesh, pricey.

Oh yea I figured you didn't  I guess if you're the owner of the car those originally came on, the badges are worth it.

Ford should sell those without the requirements or the high price. I imagine they'd sell well, it's a nice design.

Sounds like they also come in the box when you buy a Ford Racing crate engine. That would make sense.

So I figure I'm gonna go with either position #1 or #3, but I'll decide after taping them in each spot to eyeball the actual appearance.
