PLEASE NOTE: I am NOT advertising my services or products on the site with out proper permissions! Post is only to let anyone who is interested be aware of my plans and for them to leave their feed back

Yes as a few of you may have read, I (in partnership with my dad) am going to start to make custom upgrade parts for cars, Beginning with the Taurus and Sable (1986-1995 Exact Fit, 1996-2007 might need help to make it perfect).

I am currently in the latter design stages of 2 parts:
  • Light Weight & Heavy Duty Adjustable (Camber and Toe) Control Arms
  • Heavy Duty Rear End Links
I am in the beginning stages of 2 parts:
  • Control Arm to Chassis Bracket
  • Wheel Spacers
And I am In planning process of 2 parts:
  • HEADERS FOR FWD VULCAN!
  • Chassis Bracing (Strut Tower and Main Frame)
Other Items that would are being considered are:

  • Roll Cages (Full, or Hoop)
  • Fuel Cell
  • Intake Manifold(s)keep this a secret, but I am even toying around with the thought of a carbureted vulcan  SHHHH! (the voices are back!) :ugh:
Installs can be shipped (or installed at my dad's shop, for a labor fee) HYPOTHETICALLY OF COURSE :makeadeal:

Number of Products will be VASTLY INCREASED with a PLASMACAM and/or a CNC machine, and these first run parts will (after you know food and related necessities) go to fund these machines

Thanks for taking a look at this, if you have any requests (parts, services or otherwise) PM me or Leave a Comment Here,

Good on ya, man! Happy to see you bringing some cool stuff to the bull community/

UPDATE:

I have been approved for this, I will be getting a prototype set of the first 2 items together (and a personal site) prior to the final Vendor status is legit.

Rusty you got my pm B)

Alex to answer your question in 2 words... HELLS YEAH! haha it might not be overnight, but still I am interested in anything and everything
Parts as of right now would be made per order (orders which are not being taken yet) so It would take some time... a decent amount of it for non bulls, I would need to find a stock part as to get measurements and what not to... Let me know what you are looking for and ill have a better idea of whats up

Sounds great. Once the blazer forum gets back up online I'll post a pic of what I'm thinking of Posted Image. It involves a lot of welding.

Sounds like some good stuff. If you want too we can sell your products once developed.

Just a FYI we do offer rear control arms: Ingalls Control Arms

We do offer 2 different upgraded rear endlinks: Ingalls Endlinks and Adjustable Endlinks

We do have roll cages: Roll Cage

We are capable of making headers but there hasn't been much demand.

Just letting you know what is out there so you don't reinvent the wheel. Also you may want to get a handle on the demand for given products. We have only sold a few roll cages so far.

+1, An 1 5/8" tube pays me less then $10 ;)

GG5150, the only feedback I have for you is to probably hold off on the 'cages for the mean time... I know that DOM tubing is very expensive and probably not a lot of folks want cages in their SLOs :P What grade of materials are you going to be using for your parts? That may be something worth mentioning, as catch phrases like "4130" and "308" like to bring in buyers hehe

Shoot me a PM any time, I would love to talk the metals & fabrication trades with you B)

I hear about cages in slos I would never put one in mine, but I am looking at a multiple make/model catalog, the taurus is just a good platform to begin with because I am in the TSOC haha.

Yeah I will most definitely be in touch with you

NEXT POST:

Remember that custom Carb set up and shifter (custom chevy saginaw 4speed) linkage set up...

Thanks for the checking this out and giving me this information, and not to sound like I am being a jerk or anything (I really am not... honest!)

Like I said to ilh in my reply to him, I am looking at a eventually having items for many makes/models, The taurus is a good footing for me to start because I have this great community to bounce ideas off of and all that good stuff.

as for Roll cages (not knocking you but that is just a hoop) that would be a thing for the multi make/model thing, my dad builds his own dirt track cars and he has one of the safest (if not the safest) cars on the track. He built his current car all the way back in 1993, and as of its last race in 2007 (due to my dad's work related car accident and insurance bullshit...) it is still as modern as they come! he has gotten numerous roller (w/o engine) offers of over $10,000 for it! it has been 1/2 rolled at williams grove and stuffed into the fence (because of those redneck nut jobs they let race...) more than once. plus he has some trick "STOCK" parts (chassis, suspension, weight, brake, driveline and more) made up custom by him for him...

headers fall along this same pattern, i need to take a pic of the custom set of pipes he made for his yamaha xs 650 chopper (from a set of Camaro/Nova chassis SBS headers)

I have an endlink (stock, well 3/4 of it part of it is a custom thing we had to make after we broke it trying to fix it enough to get it out of that parking lot...) up at my apartment right now so i can get the dimensions and so I can make mock up pics for you guys

But once again Thanks for letting me know all this good stuff ill probably send you a pm or something later on just so ya know

I do realize it is a hoop and we can do a cage but just letting you know there is something out there and too be honest not many have been purchased. So if you do make one great but the returns will be very small.

We can help sell you stuff once you have some parts.

Ryan / goodguitar5150

Hey Ryan, whats the outlook on the wheel spacers?? I am looking for a pair either 1/4 or 5/16th at the largest to go behind my rear SHO wheels.
Thanks, Dennis

1992 Ford Taurus L "SLO"
200,000 Miles

Vulcan Lag, Noun -Vulcan Lag, Noun - Unseen force of physics that happens while attempting to reach a higher RPM with a Vulcan, yet that power seems to never reach the wheels.
ex. Dude, goodguitar5150's Taurus seems to take forever to get moving. He has a serious case of VULCAN LAG! No wonder he calls it the "SLO"

The vulcan makes you actually try, if you want to make legitimate power.

Update: We (my parts "Company" thing) are now going by the name of

LightCraft Performance and Custom Automotive Parts

NOW WITH AVAILABLE SERVICES!

****************************************************************************************************************************

FIRST SERVICE IS NOW AVAILABLE! Posted Image

LightCraft is proud to offer at this time "The Intake Manifold Port and Polish Package!"

There are 5 different Packages Available

*The "Quicky" (Stage 1/4 = Stock or just a hair above stock specs) $50 + Shipping
-This job is just essentially just the Polish half of the Main Package
-A Clean Up of Factory Intake
-Will be thoroughly washed in parts wash to ensure there is NO CARBON ANYWHERE! a good high speed run of a wire wheel to accessible areas will get the highest grade polish job
-Expect a MINOR gain in HP and a bit more pep in your step, as if it just rolled off the show room floor
-You MUST send your part out for this Service, NO CORE REIMBURSEMENT AVAILABLE for this package

*The Upper Half (Stage 1/2 = A boost for the D.D.) $90 + $30 Core Charge + Shipping
-This job is a full porting and polishing of the UPPER INTAKE MANIFOLD ONLY (on engines equipped with 2 piece Intakes Manifolds)
-Along with what is listed in package 1, your upper intake will be ported with Milling Tools on average gaining 1 to 2mm in diameter for each runner (larger with LightCraft tapered intake spacers COMING SOON)
-Ever wanted a something more out of the right pedal? With this, the wait is over! An estimated 5-15HP Depending on application maybe more?!
-Core Reimbursement IS available from here on out (except where noted), you MAY still send your own parts in for the service (PLEASE SPECIFY THIS IN WORK ORDER)

*The One Piece (Stage 1) $110 + $45 Core Charge + Shipping
-Everything in the previous packages, but will be for a One Piece Intake (al a Carbed SBC etc.)
-Now your gains some real balls An estimated 10-30HP Depending on application

*The Whole Damn Thing (Stage 1) $180 + $70 Core Charge + Shipping
-Everything in the previous packages, but will be for the entire Intake
-Runners will be matched to ensure a very limited loss of air flow
-This package allows for larger porting in runners (without adapter/spacer plates like the 'The Upper Half' would REQUIRE)
-An estimated 10-30HP Depending on application once again, could be more?

*The Charlie Sheen Special (Stage WINNING) I am willing to accept your cash, checks or wampum
-Sky is the Limit here, Your CUSTOM Designs ranging from just plain trick to BAT SHIT INSANE Mods here (With the sky being the limit it may cost as much as the 8g Rocks it takes Uncle Chuck to see the Sky, so keep that in mind.)
-Because of the Extreme nature of this mod, I cannot by any stretch of morality take a Core from you (unless you have more than one Posted Image )in the chance you want to switch back to your stock unit.

ORDERS WILL BE TAKEN IMMEDIATELY, BUT DUE TO THE NATURE OF WORK I HAVE TO CAP THE NUMBER OF JOBS AT ONE TIME TO FIVE MAX. FIRST COME FIRST SERVE, A LIST OF JOBS/USER/CAR (YOU AND/OR CAR CAN AND WILL REMAIN ANONYMOUS, UNLESS YOU SPECIFY NOT TOO) WILL BE POSTED HERE, ALONG WITH STATUS OF EACH JOB
